About Intermountain Media Systems   Intermountain Media Systems has been in business since 1964 and is one of the oldest audio and video systems dealers in the United States. We have continued in business for this many years by listening to our customers and then designing system solutions to their needs. Over the years, with invaluable input from our customers, we have designed, developed and manufactured our unique line of audio and video systems.   The founder of our company, Mr. Rex Schwendiman, has an electronic background going back to the 1940's where he designed and built custom electronic equipment for the United States Air Force. He was later joined by his son, Richard Schwendiman in the early 1960's where they were jointly responsible for the growth and development of Intermountain Media Systems.   In 1974, Mr. Dave Cohoon joined our team bringing a tremendous technical background and expertise developed from the military and broadcast industries.   In 1992, Mr. Robert Winder joined our team with a Bachelor of Science degree from Brigham Young University. He is instrumental with the design and engineering of our installations and our field service.   In 2003, Mr. Dean Hackett joined our team with a Bachelor of Science degree in communications from Weber State University. He is our valued and experienced sales representative.
